CAPABILITY MODERNIZATION (>$2 B)

Opportunity

Enhance the capabilities of the Canadian Armed Forces by delivering timely and cost-effective, interoperable and world-class capabilities to enhance the operational effectiveness of the Aurora Weapon System.

What we did

Retained by GDMS Canada, we developed and operationalized a Relationship and Delivery Management Framework to facilitate collaboration, ongoing alignment and mutual value creation to ensure that the contracted work delivers the expected capability within the required timeframes.

Key Outcome

Integrated project team met project milestones and delivered the required capability on time through increased collaboration, open communication, increased transparency and trust.


BROOKFIELD – REAL PROPERTY SERVICES ($23 B)

Opportunity

Creating a collaborative environment for working together to harvest the full potential of the business arrangement between Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions (BGIS) and Real Property Branch

What we did

Retained by BGIS, and working with all the stakeholder groups we facilitated the establishment and implementation of a Relationship and Service Management Framework for RP-1 in all regions of Canada.

Key outcome

Improved project outcomes and higher owner satisfaction through improved coordination, and enhanced communication and enhance risk management.


ONTARIO MINISTRY OF GOVERNMENT & CONSUMER SERVICES – (MGCS) (> $1 B)

Opportunity

Reducing the I&IT costs across the Province of Ontario while implementing the eOntario strategy of Electronic Service Delivery (ESD) to Government of Ontario clients, users and business partners.

What we did

Established a relationship-based IT VOR arrangement to achieve standardization on a common IT infrastructure across the OPS that enabled business transformation and Electronic Service Delivery (ESD) to Government of Ontario clients, users and business partners.

Key Outcomes
  1. $150M in savings enabled through the deployment of standard technology hardware, software and services
  2. Product and service availability through effective insight-based risk management
  3. More timely technology refresh, activities and repairs, and reduced procurement cost.

CANADA REVENUE AGENCY (CRA) IT BRANCH (< $1 B)

Opportunity

Vendor Relationship Management for supply arrangements related to managing the User IT environment.

What we did

Established a few long-term strategic relationships with selected vendors for the supply and support of IT end user environment technologies and support services with mechanisms to reallocate the workload among suppliers based on best value delivered.

Key outcomes
  1. Assured availability using ongoing insight-based risk management
  2. 25% savings on hardware acquisitions in the first year alone and $3-5M per year in capital cost savings
  3. Reduced the need for ongoing procurement processes, inventory management and maintenance costs.
 

AIRBUS – FIXED WING SEARCH AND RESCUE (> $2 B)

Opportunity

A consortium lead by Airbus had won a multi-billion-dollar contract to provide 16 FWSAR aircraft and provide maintenance support for a 20-year period. The consortia included Pal-aerospace, CAE, Airbus, and several other suppliers.

What we did

SRS was retained by Airbus to help the consortia members to work together as an integrated team able to meet Airbus commitments to their client.
Helped the parties develop and operationalize a Collaborative Relationship and Management Framework that facilitate enhanced communication, coordination, flow of KPIs to consortia members, integrated risk management and joint governance system.
Provided training and awareness sessions to address misalignments and to contribute to a culture of collaboration and trust.

Key outcomes
  1. Transition to a collaborative approach to management.
  2. Alignment of Program activities with expectations and priorities of the parties.

MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION OF ONTARIO (MTO)

CARD PRODUCTION OUTSOURCE (< $1 B)

Opportunity

To modernize card production and find an effective way to highly improve document security, card design processes, data integrity and the capture of photos, signatures and supporting documentation in support of producing driver’s license and health cards.

What we did

Helped MTO and Ministry of Health Ministry of Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) source a strategic relationship with a consortium to produce the driver’s license and health cards with improved document security, card design, data integrity, and the capture of photos, signatures, and supporting documentation.

Key Outcomes
  1. $65M in costs savings, fraud minimization / detection, and elimination of significant card production backlog.
  2. Reduced investment in card production infrastructure and improved user satisfaction.
